Wink Lets laugh a little!

Lyn's comments about age on Tammys thread made me think. I hope I will be forgiven for levity but I firmly believe you don't stop laughing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop laughing! ( And besides, isn't growing old something we all hope to do at this point?!)
For instance, one good thing about chemo brain is that you can hide your own easter eggs!
And...I feel like my body is getting out of shape, so I got my doctor's permission to take an aerobics class. I bent, twisted, gyrated, jumped up and down and perspired for an hour. But by the time I got my leotards on, the class was over.
One old fellow said "I'm really getting old. I've had 2 bypass surgeries, a hip replacement and new knees. I've fought prostate cancer and diabetes. I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, and take 40 different meds that make me dizzyand subject to blackouts. I have bouts of dementia, have poor circulation, can't feel my hands and feet anymore.I can't even remember my age and I've lost all my friends....but, thank God I still have my driver's license!
And, don't think of it as getting hot flashes. Think of it as your inner child playing with matches.
Hugs...and keep on laughing! Tricia
