Many of the schools that I work at took part in tributes to Terry Fox today. As I watched one of the numerous video presentations depicting his life and Marathon of Hope I couldn't help thinking of my sister and all the men, women and children who battle this disease. Terry believed that there could be a cure for cancer. I wonder if he would have imagined that 25 years later, still no cure. I have to believe it's around the corner...thank you to the many of you who take part in trials...you are, in essense, continuing his legacy..his marathon. Thank you to all who continue to forge ahead, living life to its fullest....as Terry said so often, there is nothing that you cannot do if you put your mind to it.
