As you know, I had brain surgery last April, so today I was talking to somebody at my hospital about brain tumors. I mentioned that I had brain mets from breast cancer. I told him that I was wondering about the feel of a brain met: what would it mean, if this lesion was found to be hard or soft at surgery? Anyway, he told me that he'd rather it be hard, because the softer the tumor, the more likely its cancer has spread. Is this true?
