try lysine to prevent canker sores

Hi Sandy,

I used to get canker sores all my life. Now I take lysine (it's an amnino acid) and I never get them anymore. I even had a blood test done and it confirmed that I was low in lysine, so I guess my body really did need it.

ALso, I agree with Mary....if you are on lasix you should also be on potassium pills from your doctor because lasix decreases your potassium levels.
