I had RFA (radio frequency abalation) to my liver in Sept/2003 after having the same tumor for 1 and half years without spreading. So far so good.

I did have a recurrence after three years on Herceptin to my liver but I do feel it has been a help in slowing down any further spread. I have been on it now for four years straight with weekly doses. I have never had any side effects and my last Muga was at 62 percent which is good for my age. I just turned 58 and have had cancer on and off since I turned 50. So I feel very blessed.

Take care and don't ever give up hope.
