My mother-in-law gave me this tip and it works, don't ask me how! My husband is a borderline bleeder, and just sneezing can start one, so when he seems to be having them alot I fix jello for him for a few days and they stop. Also used it for the kids when they were little. Maybe you could find an organic jello or gelatin at a health food store.
