I have done both. I have skipped a treatment and have also taken at an out of state facility. This you would need to check with your doctor re skipping a treatment and your insurance company re another facility. Mine worked out great. I was going to be out of town for three weeks and did not want to skip that many treatments, so I called and co-ordinated with a Hospital where I was to visit. It turned out to be a great facility and everyone was very helpful. With my insurance, I had to pay 20% out of pocket, but it was the only choice I had at the time since I had to make the trip.
