This symptom was also the case with me, although not quite so high. I was told that my heart was working overtime trying to keep my blood oxygenated and this is a natural compensating reaction.
I ate a diet that was richer in iron and drank a lot of fluids (low-sugar types, and NOT carbonated) and this seemed to also help get it down. Your rate will decrease when you are off chemo and your body is normalizing. This symptom makes it difficult to get the exercise we need, but at least keep up with some mild stretching or easy Yoga poses.
