Checkup and Tamoxifen-To Carley

Hi Carley: I am also confused. I did some research about Tamoxifen and HER2 and from what I found out (if I'm understanding it correctly) sometimes the use of Tamoxifen can actually promote tumor growth. Not a very comforting thought. I showed my Onc the research I did and he said it was too small a study to be conclusive and he still wanted me on the Tamoxifen. I am still very nervous about this. Do you know which hormone suppressents that those of us that are ERPR positive and PRE-menopausal can use other than Tamoxifen? Is it better to have the surgery? Any info would be great. Thanks, Linda
