The total number of sessions might be determined by the total dose. In other words, someone might be getting only 5 sessions but at a higher dose than someone getting 10 or 20 sessions. Obviously each case is different, but when I went searching for my rads, I was told lower more frequent dosing was preferable with less toxicity.
