Markers - PET scan uptake size

Regarding your question on PET Scans...my PET showed an uptake in what they believe is in my level III ancillary lymph nodes of a 5mm area (will be having surgery to remove it this on 7/13).

I don't know about the 2 cm. rule. I was told that CT scans can only pick up areas of concern that measure 3 cm. or larger.
