Some of you may have already heard of this, but it was passed on to me by the Cancer Patient Services coordinator at Hoag Cancer Center (in So. Calif.). This is a study -- not for us -- but for our sisters who have never had breast cancer:
The Sister Study
Eligible Women: Have a sister who was diagnosed with breast cancer (sister WITH breast cancer must be a full or half-sister who shares at least one parent by blood). Are 35-74 years old. Have never had breast cancer.
The Sister Study is sponsored by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.
