Kristen,

All I can think for you is to get the tests you want wherever you can. Your primary physician sounds like a great idea.

I want to clarify about shoulder pain. The pain I was referring to that Web M.D. (I think it was this site) says is a definite sign of liver mets is under the scapula, the back side of the shoulder blade. I'm talking several inches down your back, up and under the bottom of it. Very different from shoulder pain. I, too, had shoulder problems (frozen shoulder) after my mastectomy and later on the other side. No rhyme or reason. But nowhere near the liver mets pain. Of course, just because you DO have pain there doesn't mean it is liver mets. I just know I felt upset at not knowing that pain in that area can mean mets.

As with everything, if it hurts check it out. I don't believe in a "waiting period." My doc said he'd rather get a call from me today than have to see me in ER on a Saturday night!

Love and light to all,

Lisa
