I spoke with Mary tonight from her hospital bed. They have found a 1 x 4 cm "something" on her spine. They're not CERTAIN it's cancer, but it's in too dangerous a position to biopsy. So they've started radiation which she's convinced will help. But so far, she still cannot walk...even with a walker.
This came upon her so fast. AFter about 3 weeks of "drunken" walking.
For those who know Mary, her spirits are as high as ever. A true fighter.
