I want to thank everyone for their input. We are getting another professional medical consult tomorrow but the way it looks, we will fight for the Xeloda + Navelbine + Herceptine with the confidence we will achieve results. We know something is keeping it at bay now and one would think adding another drug will augment that, especially with HNX combination. It has a fairly solid track record for liver mets without sacrificing too much Q. of L. This has become a big issue as Linda has lost a ton of weight and can't afford to lost anymore; we also can't afford too much havoc with her blood counts. That being said, thank you Christine (and Joe) for your on-going devotion and dedication to this site as without it: we wouldn't have the two pieces of the puzzel to make informed decisions. #1: empiracle data and #2: the human equation which, with every post added another piece. Thanks Lolly for the excellent web reference.I don't think that cell search is available in Canada but I will check into it. I agree that a clinical trial may lie further down the road however the point of no return needs to be pushed much further back. As far as I can tell, because I have checked into it, a PET scan is almost impossible to get where we are. I may have to check into Cleveland for that one. We have had past discussions on this Board on concurrent hormonal / chemo therapies and unless I am mistaken; that is not recommended. Blood tests have shown that Anti-estrogen is moot.
More input still welcome and let's keep fighting this together.

Al
