Axillary Mammogram today
Although I've had a bilateral mastectomy I am fortunate to have a radiology oncology practitioner who promotes continuing follow up by doing an annual "mammogram" that involves smooshing the remaining underarm tissue and checking out the lymph nodes. The technician said they sometimes detect skin tumors this way as well. I got a clean bill of health after being given a hands on exam by the doctor
Just passing this along in the event others might look into availability where you receive treatment. Most people seem unaware of it
I'm grateful for the extra safety net
This is the same doctor who discovered my cancer 7 years ago. I love her!
So, keep thr faith
