bad cough that doesn't seem to go away

Hi,

I have had a bad cough for the past 6 (?) weeks. I have coughing spasms several times a day. I asked my onc about this 2 weeks ago and he didn't think it was related to the mets I have in my lungs.

I have never had a cough like this before. Has anyone with lung mets experienced this?

Coughing like this is really bugging me. I see my onc next week and will ask about it again, but thought someone on the boards might know.
