Hello everyone.
We're writing to share information about a telephone support service for advanced breast cancer patients which may be helpful to you. If you're not familiar with telephone support services, the Los Angeles Times recently published an
article describing their benefits, especially for cancer patients.
The service we'd like to share with you is provided by Compassionate Counseling Services. CCS provides group and one-on-one support sessions designed specifically for breast cancer patients and caregivers. The sessions are led by Stephanie Stern, MSW, LCSW-C, a licensed clinical social worker.
Here is what one participant said about Stephanie's work:
"I want to thank you for all that you have done, for walking this path with us, always there for us, waiting in the background with open arms to catch us when we fell too far, your guidance full of compassion and understanding."
There is a small fee for the sessions, but as an Inspire member, you're eligible for a free session to see if this type of support is right for you.
To learn about the types of sessions offered and find out how to participate, please call (800) 861-4655.

We hope this new support option will be a great help to you. Please do share your feedback and let us if you have any questions.
