A friend's question about signs of BC
A friend who is about 86 and healthy wonders if she has signs of possible breast cancer. Her breasts feel like little needles are at times stabbing her. 4 or 5 inches under her one arm, she gets a similar feeling and a lot of discomfort. She has a mammogram scheduled, but is kind of worried in between now and then. No previous problems or cancers. Any ideas?

Stage IIB, ER- PR- HER2+++ multi focal tumors, largest 2.3cm
Chemo first: AC/Taxol over 16 weeks
Bilateral mastectomy Sep 06
33 rads after the surgery
1 year of Herceptin completed Dec 07
15 years and no recurrence as of April 2021
