Wink Good results...proceed with caution

Hello dear friends, Just want to tell you that I received a positive report on my brain mri, ct of abdomen and pelvis, and lung nodule today. That pesky nodule is now shrinking compared to stable at the end of July. My onc explained that tykerb works differently than herceptin and of course stable and shrinking is good news. I know with this bc,things can certainly change quickly, but for now, I have a bit of relief. He led off my appt. by asking if I received the phone message about the brain mri last week. I hadn't and asked if it was bad news. He said no, that it was good, and had a note that the receptionist had left a message on my answering machine. As luck would have it, I guess the message did not take....my heart about sunk during that initial discussion. Oh well, at least I had the election to distract me while I waited for this good news. I am a "nervous nelly" aka Ceesun ...but very grateful.
