Another supplement question or two
R.B, Chrisy, Becky or anyone,
Using oleic acid and evoo as an example, if doctors don't
recommend its use because there are no conclusive studies,
then how do we know how much of it to consume? How do
we know that 2 tbsp. is going to be of benefit? Sometimes
I read about something that's good for me and then realize
that I would have to consume a truckload of it to get any
benefit.
I'm also wondering if anyone knows about the research
at Princess Margaret regarding flax seed shrinking estrogen +
tumours. Is this something new or has it been around for
awhile? I have been reading about phytoestrogens actually
being beneficial because they sort of trick the body into thinking
it has estrogen and thereby slows down the production of the
real estrogen. Does anyone have an opinion on this? I was taking
flax seed and then stopped and now I am taking it again.
