Unhappy Missed it!

Oh darn!
Would have loved to have had a heads up on that one.
Charlie comes on here quite late - at 11:30, I think. Maybe 12am.

Wish I knew if there will be a rerun as there often is of his shows.

Charlie Rose program on bc

RATS. Missed it here too. I guess the best way to get a chance to see it would be to call or write your local PBS station that carries the show and ask.

I think his website sells videos of all programs

Couldn't hurt to ask if they would donate it for download to this site!?

Maybe, but...

At this time it would probably make more sense to write your legislators in support of funding for PBS and possibly donate to PBS as well, since programs like this one are dependent on funding and as I understand it, that has been at issue. If PBS is putting together such quality programs I sure don't want to see that stop.

here's a site but looks like DVDs and VHS are quite expensive. I wonder if they'll do transcripts? or as someone suggested - donate it to the site.

I'm with you Alaska...

75% of the viewing in our house is PBS to which I pay my dues.

More on the Charlie Rose segment ???for 99cents??? see www.charlierose.com

I actually saw the show and it was not all that remarkable, except for the fact of what they were discussing. The fact that it made it to Charlie Rose WAS remarkable.
On Charlie Rose's site there is a link to...
CHARLIE ROSE SPECIAL Google Video now features select Charlie Rose interviews that you can purchase for $.99
Video of purchased programs can even be viewed on the iPod or PlayStation Portable.
Yesterday's show is streamed for free.

The breast cancer segment is not now included among those for 99 cents, but I bet a few letters from her2support members and it would be!

It is a red letter day when there is enough new to be said about breast cancer to warrant a segment on Charlie Rose. This is a tribute to the exciting times we live in.
