Chelee, Oprah has done BC. I remember seeing a show and they were letting people know that mammograms don't always pick up BC especially in young women with dense breasts. I had just been through the same thing so i was very interested in the show.

Hi Christine, I did miss the first show on Oprah on BC that you mentioned. I am glad she did one before...and I am still glad to see her do yet another. Looks like she wants all the details of the cancer...how your found it...what you went through. Surgery you had etc. The MORE shows like hers puts this out there...the better! For those that did NOT click on the link for lack of time or whatever....here is some of what she wants to know?

Have You Been Diagnosed With Breast Cancer?
Have you ever been diagnosed with breast cancer? How was the cancer discovered? Are you currently undergoing or have you recently completed treatment? How did you handle the news? How did you tell your family? Are there other women in your family who have been diagnosed with Breast cancer?

What course of treatment did you undergo? Did you have a mastectomy? Were you prepared to lose your hair? How did having your breasts removed change the way you feel about yourself as a woman? Did the physical effects of treatment change the way you feel about your body? How has your life changed since the diagnosis? Has surviving breast cancer inspired you in any way?

Do you know of an amazing story of love or courage that resulted from a breast cancer diagnosis? Was a family member diagnosed with breast cancer and you were touched by the experience in an emotional way?
If you have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer or are a breast cancer survivor, The Oprah Winfrey Show would like to hear from you. Please email us and tell us your story. Only email if you are willing to tell your story on television.

Oprah has such a big audience base...and the more stories about bc get out three...the better. And your so right about mammo's missing bc Christine. I know they are GOOD..but we all know they miss alot. They NEED to start letting women have ultrasounds instead of...or both to be on the safe side. Not just when they aren't sure of what the mammo's find.
