I will be checking this out more thoroughly in the VERY near future. My weight gain has not been quite as much as yours, but I am having a real hard time holding that weight line. Jut thought it was the "Post-menopausal fat" thing, which really does NOT run in my family.
I will see my GP for my annual shortly and will ask hime for some tests.

Well, I am glad for some of you that you have found the answer however, I have gained about 20 pounds and its not from my thyroid. I have that tested every year and some times every 6 months and its been fine. My lymphedema specialist told me this week that 20 pounds is the average gain for anyone who has been on chemo. For some they gained more and a few gain less. So for me its not the steriods or the thyroid. Hugs, Sandy

THANK YOU JESSICA, I HAVE BEEN GOING CRAZY TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT MY PROBLEM WAS, BEFORE I HAD CANCER MY DOCTOR WAS CHECKING MY THYROID AND I DIDN'T THINK ABOUT IT UNTIL YOUR POST. THANKS I AM GOING TO GET MINE CHECKED.
