San Antonio conference abstract

I was looking through the abstracts that are going to be presented at the conference this week. One of them is titled "Inhibiting the growth factor (GFR) pathway preserves and enhances the expression of the estrogen receptor (ER) in Her2 overexpressing tumors."

I couldn't figure out how to read the abstract without a password. I have been trying to figure out just what the heck it means. I assume the "inhibiting pathway" part refers to herceptin. Does anybody have any ideas? Do you think it is related to the old her2/tamoxifen controversy?
