Need Bil Breast MRI, but waiting for period...nowhere in site! (m)....

I was supposed to have my 1.5 yr. checkup with a bilateral breast MRI, but I cannot schedule it until I get my period. It's supposed to be scheduled between days 7-14. I never got my period in June (last one was in May). Over the last two days I've had all the symptoms of Aunt Flo coming with only a speckle of blood on TP, but she has not shown up yet. What if she never comes? What do I do? I'm thinking maybe I should at least go and have my blood drawn for my bloodwork. I'm really getting frustrated as I had a PET 2 months ago which did show uptake in my cancer breast but Oncologist said to wait for MRI to see what's going on if anything (could be scar tissue?).

I went into chemopause during treatment in 2010 and then about March of 2011 I got my period back pretty much normal until now. What do you think may be causing this? Good thing as I have my annual checkup with ob/gyn on Wed - maybe he can tell me. Thanks.

Of course it's not showing up, when we want it to it doesn't and when we get ready to leave for vacation it shows up. Any type of stress or anxiety can shut her down, pretend to plan a big event and maybe she will decide to show up.

Have you discussed this with your medical team? I had an MRI when I was in chemopause. Since I didn't have regular periods they just scheduled me and I went.
