Re: Is anyone seeing a pattern here???
Yes, I'm starting to see more options, and more good news. The agonizing part is to get there we've got to join clinical trials and its a crap shoot to get the latest treatments.
I'm so happy that pertuzumaub is approved for metastic treatment.
But the approval for TDM1 and other treatments that lead us to NED are years out, and only after progression and suffering through toxic chemotherapies.
The logic seems to escape me, but I'm disappointed there aren't more trials for primary breast cancer.
I've seen how many chemotherapies the Stage IV ladies have suffered with.
I can't wait until more targeted treatments are used with primary treatment, and even before - so no one has to go through what the stage IV survivors suffer with.
