Ionic Foot Bath

Hi there, I'm pretty new to this site and this is my second post. I first post in the newcomers. I have finished my 3 FEC and I had my first taxotere on Tues, April 8. Everything is going pretty well. I been on a high from the steriods for 3 days and I think I'm starting to crash. I'm pretty tired.
When I had my appointment on Tuesday, I asked my ONC if I could have an Ionic Foot Bath and she said that is not a problem. They have an Oncologist at the Cancer Clinic that work with Homepathic treatment and they said it is fine. The foot bath removes detoxions from your body thru positive and negative Ions. It is very interesting. Just wondering if anyone else has been using this.
Hope you all have a good day.

Beth

I haven't had that done but it sounds interesting. Let us know how it goes if you go ahead with it.

Hi, I had a foot bath and it is quite interesting. You put your feet into a bucket with the ion and it draws out toxins. I had a lot of yeast show up in my water. I knew I had alot of yeast, as I get thrust with each chemo. Hopefully the foot baths will help remove it.

Wow, this sounds great. Where do you get one? At the spa? I could use a spa trip.

Thanks,
Tonya

Hi Tonya, my neighbour does this treatment out of her home. A lot of people are doing the foot baths here to detox. You may have to ask around health food store, they may know something.

They just had a special on these on TV...the question was do they actuially do what they say. The advice from the medical & scientific field was that they won't hurt your feel, might feel very good, but they do not remove any toxins from the body as they claim.
