check-up
I had a check-up with my onc today. Everything looked good. I go back in 3 months. I'm a year out from all treatments now so thought maybe he wouldn't see me as often, but that's not the case so far. He did answer some questions I had. He recomends walking and the acs diet. Will have to look that up later. He told me there are no long lasting side effects from any of the treatments I've had, and I almost laughed at him. What do they know? So now I go for my mammo next month and to see rad onc to recheck my broken rib. It doesn't hurt much anymore, so hopefully it's healed good. I'm looking forward to my 3 year cancerversary in Sept. While I was at the onc today I saw my friend from work. She's getting chemo every day. Said she's mainly just really tired. She looked okay, bloated, but okay. We go tomorrow to get my granddaughter again. I'll put some new pix up on my carepage when I can.

Yippeeee!!
Ahhh, the little things in life. I am so glad to hear you are doing so well. Next appointment 3 months...hopefully a little less with time. I wish you good luck with the mammogram, I HATED THEM BEFORE my husband got sick, but I know they are needed. He takes me,(him having IBC) to my mammograms and it is my pleasure to make him happy, for he does not want me to get sick when I should be monitoring my own breast health.
Next time you get a chance, please write about that cute little one in your pic, which by the way I adore!!

My daughter helped me make a myspace page today so now you can see more pics of Dilly my granddaughter. For those who are semi-new here her name is Cordelia Rhiannan. she was a year old in April. They moved to Kentucky around Christmas so i haven't seen her as much as I'd like to lately, but have had her just about all summer since I'm on vacation at school. Anyway, my page is Juanita1963 and you will need to know sample as my last name.

Have a problem with my myspace page so I will try to get more pix on my carepage or try to figure out how to do them here.
