My Mother
As I write this, my husband and I are getting ready to fly back to Minneapolis. My Mother-in-law was just diagnosed with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer and is in intensive care. We are in shock, as she has never smoked, but we want to hold her in our arms and tell her how much we love her. She is the kindest, most giving soul I have ever chanced to meet. She has travelled the world to places like Cambodia and Nicaragua and Brazil to help build housing for the poor and minister to their needs, sacrificing everything for the disadvantaged and putting her needs last. This world is truly a better place because of her. I am asking for your prayers, my sisters, as you hve always been there in times of need. Her name is Carol, and she has been a gift from God. Thank you for being my family all these months, I am so blessed to call you my sisters and brothers. With my love to you all, Vickie

Hi Vickie,
I have said a prayer for your mother in law, Carol and also pray God's Peace to each of you. A very tough, sad situation to say the least.
Hugs -
Mary Jo

Dear Vicki,
I am so sorry to hear about your mother in law. How wonderful all the work she has done. Dont be affraid to spead the word to those that know her. When I was deep in treatment, my family spread the word and before I knew it there were good thoughts and prayers flowing from all corners of this earth and I felt so uplifted by all of them. I will be sending positive healthy energy to you both and will keep you in my prayers.
Hugs,
Patricia
