Just wanted to share that I completed 1 year of Herceptin (weekly) on Tuesday! WAHOOOOOOIIIEEE! It just happened to be the first anniversary of my Mothers passing to to this cursed disease..May be switching to Femara IF neuropathy (not sure of origin) doesnt get better.
Its wierd not having my "safety net"!
Many thought and prayers going out to those in treatment!

Hello Marcia,
Great news, and condolences regarding your mother-- what strange timing.
I have my last Vitamin H on Monday. We have dinner reservations for a restaurant that I've wanted to try for the past two years. Yum!
Good luck with the neuropathy.
Jen

Dear Fellow Her2neuers...
Thanks for the congrats! I didnt really do anything special, just called the few friends that i knew still "cared"! Funny thing (not) is most of them are survivors themselves. I could never have gotten through it all without the support of others who came before. Sadly too I have lost a number of dear friends and family to this beast....My love and prayers for each and every one here.
Special thanks to "Rozebud" for welcoming so many months ago.
My neuropathy in my hands makes it very difficult to type for any period of time...so I mostly just read.
Thanks again,Marcia

Yeah Marcia! You have been through so much in the last year, including being displaced from your home. I haven't been on here much and even less on FORCE (still on YSC daily for my breast cancer chat board addiction) so it was a great surprise to see you pop in .
I'm PROUD of you. Glad you gave herceptin a chance.
Jen - congrats to you too, my 3C partner in crime!!
