Zumba
Has anyone heard of Zumba, an dance aerobic type class? I have been taking it for several months now and it is LOTS of fun and a very decent cardio workout.

I've heard of it - so you like it? It always sounded WAY to scary!

Re: Zumba
It's a type of aerobic class. Mostly Latin type music. Lots of hip movement and chacha kind of moves. Can include some hip hop too. There can be 60 - 70 women in the class (plus few men), all ages, all shapes and sizes. Many are not all that experienced dancers, but everyone seems to have a really good time at it. You can see people doing variable intenstities and modifications, but there is the opportunity to burn a ton of calories. I like it. It is a nice change and I welcome variety to my workouts.

Re: Zumba
Oh yes Karen! I've seen girls as young as 10 out there! Google up Zumba Fitness and you can watch some videos as well as find a Zumba place close to where you live. Believe me, it is lots of fun. I love it!!
