Name Laurie's Baby!
Laurie is due to give birth soon and I wanted to do my part by helping to name her baby. Let's all pitch in and do what we can! William Lee or Sarah Elizabeth. Everyone chime in with a boy's name and a girl's name. Come on, Team! Let's go! Laurie needs us!

Ignatius Eugene for a boy or Imogene Gwendolyn for a girl.
Wait--was I supposed to be serious?!?
I have always loved the name "Kate" for a girl--sweet, simple and reminding of someone wonderful and "Sam" for a boy--solid, but yet still soft and kind.
Oooo...I can't wait to have a thread for baby naming.
Take care,

Name Laurie's Baby !!
How about Malia? That is a Hawaiian name. It means Mary in English. I heard that it is also a reference to maile, a beautiful Hawaiian fern. Barak Obama's oldest daughter is named Malia. I also like the reference to Miracle that Steph suggested.
Does Laurie know we are making suggestions? I guess she knows now with all these postings.

hmmmm, I'm not sure if she knows or not, Elaine. I didn't think to ask her permission. I just sorta went off the reservation and did it myself.

Hey Laurie, I know you're from a town that loves football--I heard they even put a little football in all the baby boys' cribs in the hospital nursery...so I guess my personal favorites of Seth and Oliver might be too soft for a future football star. Hmmm, I loved Woman of Steel's suggestion of Jasper and I guess you can't go wrong with Joseph or Adam. Sometimes you just have to see the baby first to know for sure--

Congratulations!
I seem to remember you were thinking about Lucas...that's my son's name and he likes it. I also like Phoenix (not for everyone) and Joe is always good, I think.
