thanks for the inquiry

Hi Kate, I managed to scare that one off after I initimated cancer survivor ship. I started chatting with another man and we have an actual date set up for next Tuesday-I am scared to death. I did get off of the one site I was on cause it was a bit creepy and fruitless. I did join match .com and prospects are better. I just threw it out there in my profile that I am a cancer survivor, feel great, look healthy and that I understand that it is freaky for some. But, I do feel -and stated in my profile-like no one know how long they have and as we age almost everyone ahs some health issue to work through. I figure that way I can weed out people without the anxiety I'm having now with this new guy. I have not even mentioned the cancer thing. And I don't know if I'll be attracted to him at all, can't tell by the pic. Our e-mails and phone calls ahve been just delightful though.

When there is more to share I definitely will. Take good care!

Joy,

It's a good idea to put it out that you are a cancer survivor. As you said it will keep those away who are afraid. I hope you date on Tuesday goes well. Just take it for what it is -- a date. Take the time to get to know him. You never know what may come about.
