2nd primary tumor? The latest update...

By way of a follow up; I had 4 scans last week (1 CAT and 3 octreoscans) and thank God, they came back clean and clear. However, because of ongoing symptoms (daily episodes of flushing), my onc wants me to have a second opinion with a carcinoid specialist at Dana Farber...so as far as I am concerned, I am in a holding pattern until we hear this man's recommendations. Thank you all for your earlier ideas, resources and suggestions...I will keep you posted...
Love Kim

Smile Kim

Encouraging, though the prayers will continue...as always. Take care and God bless.

I'm always thinking of you. I was going to personally write but I thought you might need your space right now. At least everything is going in the right direction.

Wink Glad to hear ...

... that the scans did not show what was suspected. You may have any number of things going on, and a specialist is probably a good way to go for something that is out of the ordinary.

Hope this allows you to rest a little easier for now, and enjoy the summer with your family.

Take care of yourself, but I think you can be allowed ONE great chocolate dessert!
