Herceptin, Paclitaxel and Gemcitabine

Breast Cancer with Liver met.

We recently found out that the cancer has recently spread to lungs.
we are in consultation we two doctors and one of them is prescribing Herceptin and paclitaxel combination. But the other doctor is suggesting Herceptin, paclitaxel and gemcitabine combination and says that gemcitabine will fight lung cancer. The other doctor is of the opinion that Her and paclitaxel combination should take care of it...Has any one had Herceptin, paclitaxel and gemcitabine combination???

Type 'gemcitabine' into the 'Search' window on top of the Board, you will find threads and postings that contain the word. Read members' signature to see if they've used the combination.

I hope some of the members who have used the combo will see this thread and reply. However, you can used the above method to find members with the experience and then send them a private message/e-mail if this thread gets hidden from view.
