Today is THE day!

Today is my 5 year mark!

I prayed for this day for so long and now it is finally here. It is a weird feeling but a peaceful one. How my life has changed since 2003...
I prayed so hard that my little girl (Emma) would remember me. I didn't want to be a whisper in the wind, a dream that doesn't seem too real, a faint smell that gives her pause as she searches for where she knows it from. I wanted her to remember my kisses and bedtime stories. She is still only 5 but 6 is coming around the corner and I think that she will have some concrete memories of me now.

Thank you Christine and Joe (Angels Lisa and Sandy H up above and MaryAnn and Steph) for always being here when I needed you. I can't even count how many times I visited this website in the middle of the night needed some hope, some wisdom, some peace and I found it here. I may not have been the best of "posters" but I read faithfully. There are so many other wonderful women and men that write here and I am not excluding any of you!
