Suggestions for Bed & Breakfast in NH/Vermont

It will be one year since hubby's diagnosis and I want to surprise him with a romantic get-away in New Hamshire or Vermont. Our favorite time of year is September & October. We were married in October and I need this time to be full of celebrating and not of sadness. Last year was the sadness, but he is still here and I need to replace this time with the 'once so happy life we shared'. We are still happy, only now our lives have changed and this time NEEDS to remain a sacred time in our lives. (and with it being a year and he is still here, how can this not remain sacred?? He would not still be here if the intial treatment did not work!!)

I do not have the time to fully investigate where to go and time is running out. I thought you girls here in New England would have some suggestions. We do not care where we go as long as we can get a spa day in, maybe a fireplace and or whirlpool.

One year coming up on September 7th, where does the time go. Any suggestions??

Waiting For A Miracle...and expecting one soon!!>>Believe51

I would suggest Take It For Granite B & B. in Wilmot,NH. This is the spot where my daughter was married three years ago just after I was diagnosed stage 4 and with brain mets. The owners are very friendly and feel like family. Let me know if that is where you decide to go. I have a place in New London, NH nearby and maybe I can come up for the weekend. I can certainly give you ideas of what to do.
Best wishes,
Barbara
