DX: 12-20-05 - Stage IIIA, Her2/Neu, 3+++,Er & Pr weakly positive, 5 of 16 pos nodes.
Rt. MRM on 1-3-06 -- No Rads due to compromised lungs.
Chemo started 2-7-06 -- TCH - - Finished 6-12-06
Finished yr of wkly herceptin 3-19-07
3-15-07 Lt side prophylactic simple mastectomy. -- Ooph 4-05-07
9-21-09 PET/CT "Recurrence" to Rt. axllia, Rt. femur, ilium. Possible Sacrum & liver? Now stage IV.
9-28-09 Loading dose of Herceptin & started Zometa
9-29-09 Power Port Placement
10-24-09 Mass 6.4 x 4.7 cm on Rt. femur head.
11-19-09 RT. Femur surgery - Rod placed
12-7-09 Navelbine added to Herceptin/Zometa.
3-23-10 Ten days of rads to RT femur. Completed.
4-05-10 Quit Navelbine--Herceptin/Zometa alone.
5-4-10 Appt. with Dr. Slamon to see what is next? Waiting on FISH results from femur biopsy.
Results to FISH was unsuccessful--this happens less then 2% of the time.
7-7-10 Recurrence to RT axilla again. Back to UCLA for options.

8/09 extensive mets rgt brst, back and torso. starting Pazopanib clinical trial.

1 full year of Herceptin received every 3 weeks

prophylactic Mast. 3/2/06

Thank you all for wishing me a HAPPY B-DAY ...YOU ALL ARE so WONDERFUL.... MY chemobrain/herceptin brain has gotten the most of me over the past 3 or 5 months...takes me FOREVER to do things... but found a saying that "TODAY is a GIFT--that's why its called the PRESENT"...so we all have learned to cherish people not things....and to help each other which is giving Back....WE are wiser and older.. and have learned that doing for others gives us greater pleasure than money..at least --most all the time.. Thank you all for being here. YOU ARE MY TRUE FRIENDS..!!! I do need your Help in reminding me to check in on this site by sending me an e-mail...
I still need your advice and thanks for your patience with me when even family members could care LESS...-- YOU ALL try to understand., offer your suggestios..etc,..
..I plan to treat everyday special from NOW on...and do at least 1 or 2 things I LIKE TO DO.FOR JUST ME..(take the dog for a walk.) + more......maybe try some Yoga too.as I heard it helps rt.brain people become happier with practice.(a study of Buddist monks..). ..so you might wanna give it a try too.....gonna look up psychology and happiness .... thanks again.. I am still HERE.... kat in the delta
