theresaw, Sorry to hear you had to stop your herceptin early. At least you got in six trts. Maybe you can start back up again in a couple months. Many times after a break from herceptin your heart will recover and you can go back on it. It might be worth mentioning to your onc and see if its a possiblity? I know how you feel about ending your herceptin as today was my last day of it. I did get my full year in but hoped they might let me have a couple extra trts of herceptin because I heard others got too.(But thats not looking very good.)
Like you, I will miss my chemo nurse and many others down there. Seems strange to be let lose. As to your back pain...I am not sure what that could be? But hopefully they will do some tests and get to the bottom of that. Let us know what they find out about your back pain. I am sure it will be caused from something your doing and don't realize. I know the worry you must have...we have all had it. Hang in there...glad you found us.
Chelee
