Even though it is raining and flooding..
in my area, I am cozy at home today and so very happy.
It is two years since my surgery (lumpectomy) my neighbor
has sent me the most enormus and beautiful flower arrangement.
I am blessed to have great neighbors. They have also become
dear and special friends. Through my dx. and treatments they
have always been by my side - also extremely supporitive of my husband
and son.
Just sharing with my sisters how happy I am today and wishing
continued good days for all of us.
Regards,
Jean

Two years indeed mean a great deal more than just the passing of two years. In bc metastatic probablity, the two year mark means that the liklihood of micro invasion by stray bc cells is indeed very minimal, particularly for HER2 patients. The non-HER2 patients must wait for a longer period of time to confirm the same status, since their bc cells are less aggressive and take a longer period of time for them to become visible or noticeable. Congratulation is definitely in order

Congratulations Jean on your two years out, I am approaching one year. We have similar diagnoses. I see you changed to Femara from Arimedex, do you find it less painful on the joints. I can't decide what to do. Again congratulations and thanks for your insight and help on many matters.

Many thanks!
Dear Sisters,
Thank you for your support, kind words and always being there!
How lucky can one gal get? We have the best group of knowledgable
ladies who would make any general honored to have in his army!
What strong fighters we are with a determination to beat this disease!
Tricia wishing you good luck in crossing the 2nd year finish line very soon!
Pat - regarding Arimidex, yes I did find that Femara is much easier on
my body with few joint and muscle aches. The Arimidex was very
hard on my body.
Remember each day we get a bit closer!
