Thumbs up New breast imaging - check this out!

Found this by accident - but looks to be quite promising. A whole new technique.

They have a list of the centers using their machine.

Anybody tried it yet??

Thanks, Steph!

Now that I know my risk factor for a new cancer is high due to breast density (not to mention all of the scar tissue and clips in my affected, irradiated dense breast), I have been looking for a technology to supplement standard mammography, which I no longer trust. There happens to be a facility near me offering this service. I printed out their info to take with me to my follow up visit with the surgeon in 6 weeks.

Steph,

Thank you so much for posting this...I am one of those who needs Breast MRI's and I have to travel hours away to get it. Turns out the machine you are talking about here is about 45 min. away!

Thank you!

I go for my digital mamo tomorrow... I think I'll print this and take it in.

Thanks, Steph.
