My wife status and Herceptin + Femara

Just a bit of an update on my wife, the latest CT scan shows stable lung nodules. Since 7/04 (while under Femara), CA27.29 data were rising, correlate with CT scans showing new (and increasing size) lung nodules. Finally in 1/06 Herceptin has been added concurrently to Femara. Last week CT scan shows no new nodules and current ones are stable in size. The point of interest is that Herceptin work for a while before (2000-2001), after that Femara which work for 5 years. Perhaps by attacking both pathways the tumours are kept in check.

12/2000 - 10/2001: Herceptin and Navelbine
12/2000: lung metastatic was diagnosed (a few small nodules)
2/98 - 12/2000: Daily Tamoxifen
5/97 - 4/98: Modified Radical Mastectomy, many many cycles of chemo regiments (CAF,Taxol, Carpoplatin, Thiotepa, Navelbine,Taxotere), including HDC, and radiation
5/97: First diagnosed with BC stage 3A, ER+, PR+, HER2 +, poorly differetiated, nuclear grade 3
