I tried to get onto the site but couldn't. Was the server down or was it just me?

I think it was just you. We had about 12 people on or so. Sorry you missed it. The chat's are long to post. I think the next one I will try to zip file but I still think it will be too big to post.
Best regards
Becky

Please send me the chats too. I never join in cuz I'm not sure how to do all that though I'm sure my kids would teach me how.

I just finished reading this chat and have the following to offer for what its worth. Anger is the primary dynamic of depression. If we can recognize our anger at whomever or about whatever we can go a long way to dealing with it and becoming less depressed. Sometimes it is even God we are angry at and that can increase our guilt- after all how can we be angry at Him? And then there those others in our lives or things or events. There is so much to get angry about without having cancer to contend with that it only seems natural for us to be extra angry. However unless we can get rid of that anger in a healthy way we are doomed to be depressed. I remember the scene in Steel Magnolias where Sally Fields gets angry about her daughter's death and Olympia Dukakis tells her to take it out on Shirley McClain. I cried and laughed at the same time. So now when I get angry at God or whoever or what ever I just take it out on Shirley McClain! Seriously, try to find a healthy outlet for your anger instead of internalizing it and learn to laugh while you cry!
Love & prayers,
Marlys

There is a book called "the Natural way to beat depression" Dr Basant K Puri and Hilary Boyd.
It is a strong advocate of the benifits of EPA a constituent of fish oil - its back to balancing the omega threes and sixes.
DHA is also viewed as essential to brain health and development. One trial said;
"N-3 deficiency is associated with sub-optimal function in learning, memory, olefactory-based discrimination, spatial learning, and visual acuity"
Food for thought.

Please email me, too. I am currently seeing an oncology medical social worker who stated his impression was that I am the least depressed person he knows (supposedly among his clients). However, I feel angry and am starting to wonder.... No clue as to who or what I am angry at/about but can feel it nonetheless.
