Herceptin dose question

For those receiving weekly Herceptin, I believe Genentech recommends 2mg/kg for the maintenence amount.

At my last herceptin appointment, I asked the nurse how much herceptin I was getting. She said 130 (something; not sure what she said next) I want to know that I am getting the right dose for standartd NED ("late") treatment.

Does anyone know what 2mg/kg translates into?

herceptin dose

I am on weekly herceptin at dose of 140 whatever; I think the nurse said the dose (in my case anyway) is pegged to weight.

You need to convert your weight in pounds into kilograms, then multiply by 2(amount of mg's Herceptin per kilogram of body weight) to find what your dose should be...Here's a link to a website that converts kilograms to pounds and vice versa:
