Smile To Lolly

Hi Lolly, have you had any radiaiton for your nodes? I always get that first and for the few that didn't respond I got the chemo. For our type the radiation seems to be better for some reason.

Hi Lyn; I just saw your post today! I've only had radiation to the left side, after first-line treatment. When I had the latest biopsy done on the right axilla, I asked the surgeon about either taking the nodes out or doing radiation, and he didn't recommend it due to the probability of developing lymphedema in the right arm. Since I already struggle with it in the left, I guess I don't want to increase my chance of getting it in the other arm as well. So, I'll leave it up to the chemo, and hope the vaccine kicks too, to give it a double whammy!

<3,
Lolly
