I have been accepted into a randomized three-arm phase 3 trial with herceptin. (1 arm doesn't get herceptin & 2 get it. Not blind). They accept Stage I, neg node women who have completed adjuvant chemotherapy. Here is the info from my trial sheet:

It is accepting women from Canada, Europe, Australia & S. America. (If you are American, and live near the border, I would approach them on communting to one of the major cities to meet trial requirements)

It is being coordinated by the National Cancer Institute of Canada (CTG-trial MA.24) and internationally by the Breast International Group (BIG01-01). Brackets are the file numbers of the SAME trial but at the different agencies.

The phone number of the principle Canadian investigator is Dr. Caroline Lohrisch in Vancouver, BC.

This trial is closing VERY shortly, so if you're interested hurry.

Good luck. I have the same concerns with my early stage HER+ cancer.
