You are empowered by ALL the great info on brain mets and their treatment - so if it does turn out to be something that needs attention, you are prepared. (If one is ever really prepared for keeping up the fight!)
By the way - did you NOT have a brain MRI earlier in the year when there were lots of posts about the necessity of checking inside the old bean?
I have used my guided imagery to try and keep my brain/skull area free and clear (maybe neck nodes as well). I have a very definite line across my shoulders that says "No cancer cells allowed."
I will be picturing that little spot vaporizing for you!

Yes, Steph, I have had regular 3 months checkups of my brain. BUT, except last Sept. when this all started,they've been CT scans, not MRIs. This time, I asked for a brain MRI to avoid the radiation of CTs. Ironic, huh?

I will start my own guided imagery for the area. Hope you don't mind if I borrow your image!

Just a thought. Maybe the Herceptin is causing the markers to not be accurate? Its a antibody so maybe it masks the tumor markers? Just a thought. I can't believe how many of us are finding brain mets. I thought it was only supposed to be 25%. Its seem way more then that. What a bummer. Maybe it will turn out to be nothing!! Love michele
