To Lisa re: brain/skull mets

It never occurred to me to ask about gamma or cyberknife with my bone mets to the skull. And now I MAY have a small brain met tumor; I'll know more in a few days. My onc never mentioned it either, but I will certainly ask next time we talk. Thanks so much for that insight.

I also have bone mets to the skull--my onc never mentioned tx as gamma or cyber knife for this. Have others had this experience? I will ask him at my next visit,

My friend has the same - a met to the skull and a couple other scattered places. They have determined the new mets are HER2 positive, so she has started Herceptin and her plan is to add a chemo in Sept if there is not some shrinkage of these spots by then.
