New Book - Promise Me
Hi All,
This morning as I was watching the news Nancy Brinker was being interviewed and discussing the release of her new book.
As many of you may already be aware Nancy Brinker
is a breast cancer survivor herself. She was dx. 3 yrs. after her sister lost her battle in 1983.
She said she had caught her breast cancer early and treated it aggressively - the reason I post this is just to offer to all and new memebers that a dx. of breast cancer is not instant doom. While the journey is never fast enough we are making gains in this battle.
As new members come to visit and join us we can all remember the fear factor in our own dx.
In an earlier discussion about the TDM 1 trial..has anyone contacted the Koman organization and bring this to the attention of Nancy Brinker? She is on the board of Fasttrack.
Jean
